New Managers Program/ Executive Milestone Program

Hi, I'm currently helping my manager to design a training program for new managers. I would like to know if any other organization has done similar programs before and if do, the content and context in brief.

    I am at a bit of a loss. What are you training these managers? Are you hiring inexperienced people to be managers, and planning to train them as such?

    Many companies have a corporate new employee training, which gives info about the company and its products and its policies.

    But training specific to the duties of the manager would vary greatly with the duties. This is a marketing question board, so presumably the position is in marketing. But marketing manager duties vary greatly, so it is rare to see a training program that would work for many different new managers.
