What are some of the methods I can use if I want market a product or service through direct marketing? For example, the organisation sells electrical and hardware appliances, so what method can be used?

    Focus less on "method" and more on message. What message would appeal to you? Why?

    Gary is right. The "method" isn't nearly as important as the message. Why should someone buy from you instead of a competitor? Who exactly is your primary target audience?

    If you get the message right, there are any number of approaches that will work. And if you don't get the message right, no approach will work.
