Problem With List Purchase - Potential Fraud

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
My company recently purchased some lists for e-marketing lead generation activities from an organization called World Data Forum (https://worlddataforum.com). We were told it is a 600 person company, however, we have had bad issued with the list quality and accuracy and company is not fixing the issues or refunding our purchase.

Have any other members had issues with World Data Forum? I am looking for suggestions anyone might have on getting a refund? They will not return calls, however, we are starting to post on their FB, Twitter, etc.

Your input would be appreciated.

Their domain is registered with NameCheap and you can
    e-mail NameCheap here: support@amecheap.com

The site itself is registered to the following contact details.

    +1.6613102107
    Fax: +1.6613102107
    11400 W. Olympic Blvd. Suite 200
    Los Angeles, CA 90064
    US

I have no connection with WDF and hope the information above helps in some way.

This company has 1 "Like" on Facebook and 1 follower on Twitter so really, posting on their social media streams probably isn't going to do much good.

It might be worth sending a letter from your legal counsel insisting on a refund, or on arbitration or some kind.

Did you pay with a credit card? Can you stop payment? The Better Business Burea probably won't help much. Sounds like a fly-by-night international service. Maybe U.S. Commercial Service can help- https://origin.www.stopfakes.gov/us-gov-agencies/commercial-service
    Good luck -
