Marketo Vs Hubspot

We are using marketo and are quite frustrated with how difficult it is to design good landing pages and emails. Can anyone recommend tools that will help us design landing pages for dummies that work with marketo? We are not html experts. Should we be looking at a different tool such as hubspot, or is it worthwhile investing the time into Marketo. We have and sfdc integration.

    I am unfamiliar with Marketo but have been a user/subscriber to Hubspot for some time now. I love Hubspot. It's easy to use, and with our subscription you get consultations. There are multiple forums and Q&As to reference as well as the personal consultant. Would be worth a shot to get a Demo if you are looking for alternatives or something to work with Marketo.

    Wendy-thanks for your reply. We have been in touch with hubspot and I've always been pleased with their response time and the quality of their answers.
    Are you integrated with Salesforce? I heard that hubspot isn't as deep as marketo and can't handle complex drip campaigns or deep integration with Salesforce as well as marketo.

    We don't have Salesforce. We use a, for better lack of terms, home-made database. Hubspot does an Inbound Conference once a year if you can get the budget to attend, I recommend it. Unfortunately I really can't answer the tech questions.

    If you are using Salesforce, it will be worth your time to get some help with setting up Marketo for your use. LeadMD is an excellent consultant that could help. The email editor has its limits, but you can have consultants or your ad agency create some base templates to help if you need something more sophisticated. It's pretty hard to beat the interface between Salesforce and Marketo.

    Thanks to all those that answered so far.

    I was looking for something more concrete regarding landing page tools (as opposed to consulting services). Any Marketo and SFDC users out there?

    Sorry to hear you are having difficulty with your landing pages. I have a couple ideas for you:

    1) Call Marketo support at +1.877.270.6586 or +1.650.376.2302 and they should want to help you. When you pay more than a small amount for software someone should pick up the phone and help you if you have a problem.

    2) We created a bundle of 79 free landing page templates that you can use with a free trial of HubSpot: https://offers.hubspot.com/79-free-landing-page-templates Feel free to play around and see if you find it easier to use than your current process.
