Does anyone have any sources that provide credible data that monitored web use by month, day of the week, and time of the day?

Any credible information on the aforementioned will help.

"Web use" for what? Number of people online at any one time? Number of people on a specific site? Number of people searching for specific terms, by region, browser, age, nation, ZIP or postal code?
Withouth knowing the specific varialbles, this is one of those "How long is a piece of string" questions.

Number of people online at any time is what I am looking for more specifically.

If you're looking for keyword stats, try Google insights for a keyword - you can find this in the Adwords interface. It's a great tool, if you're looking for something more specific.
