    Where are you located?
Who are your customers likely to be?
Why would they want to purchase from you?
What will make your store unique?

Flash by tyres - for tyres that whizz
Alloys and more - fast tyres, alloys and wheels
Silver & Black - flash alloys and tyres
Black silver - make scorchmarks with our tyres and rims

    Mix & match. Enjoy!

None are particularly unique, if you can define your customer in razor-sharp terms we could do a little better for you.

You need to answer Jay's question so we have more information to go on. Also, I don't understand .. "planning to put up a new store for my shop". Does this mean you are planning to build a retail store INSIDE or NEAR your existing shop? Is it an auto shop or??

Steve Byrne - I am planning to put another branch which near on the vehicles terminal. Yeah it is an auto shop that offers tires and wheels to the car owners.

So why do your customers return to you (apart from price)? What do they get from you when they do return?

Moriarty - hi thanks for that we also give discounts to our long term customers and sometimes we allow them to pay the tire and wheels good in one month.

Does anybody else in your area offer 30 day terms? Is this something you could leverage?

Fair warning: anybody can knock this off (60 day, 90 day, etc). It isn't really something you can use as a USP for very long.

Moriarty - aCCORDING TO MAY SOUCE they don't offer terms in there customers., and some of there products are surplus not brand new., we also offers to our customers that if they buy from us they dont pay for exchanging tires its for free

That means you have an advantage - so use it!!!

Even if they have a system like yours in place, they aren't advertising it. As I say, be warned that they may cotton onto this and you're back at square one.

Now: do you understand split testing? Find out which thing (30 day payments - vs - free tire exchange) is most important to them. Then use that for your tagline and the other in your copy/text/blurb.

Now: this is going to be quick as I need to zip off to Rotterdam. I'll be back later. In the mean time - do you like

Xchange Tires - quality tires and alloys with free mounting [or whatever you call the work you do ;-) ]
Quick Swap Tires - 30 days to pay when you have an account* with us
Pit Stop Tires - fast free service for your new tires

*make sure you get their email address so that you can keep in contact ;-)

    See you later. M

Moriarty - Thank a lot.,Now i need to to build my mission and vision can you help me?

Missions and visions. I'm pretty sure that you've got a few of those tucked away somewhere ;-)

All you have to do is find them. More to the point, who's going to benefit from them? Your team (who should be inspired by serving customers), you (ditto) or your customers - who should be inspired by your taglines :-)

The essence of your mission is to serve your best customers to the best of your ability. Quite what that is is another matter. Which is where it gets personal - and means you need the courage of your convictions to implement (and thereby inspire your workforce). Remember if someone comes in wanting some 19" tires for their car, to be met with someone who is really eager to help them, may come as something of a surprise. After all, at most supermarkets the usual response is "err ... if it's on the shelf we've got it, mate" - which wouldn't do for you at all, would it?

So have a good think about what your best customer comes in asking - and ensure that your entire team from your receptionist through to your fitters know **exactly** what they're looking for by way of help. No doubt once they've got the measure of what you're trying to do, they'll come back to you with their own ideas and thoughts that they've gotten from chatting with customers.

Because all of this hangs together to form one cohesive drive by you, towards what your customers need. It will take a little give and take on all parts, only because they know that there's something tangible in your mission statement, it won't become a locker-room joke.

    Does this help any?

A mission statement that doesn't include your customers is pretty darn useless. Which is why they make such wonderful jokes after all! Coz they don't connect. They're little more than managers polishing egoes at shareholder's expense.
