    Elite Elegance Event Planning.

Doesn't that sort of say it all anyway? Okay, so it doesn't detail what you do that makes the events special or elegant. You must have some idea of what you're up to - you've worked in event planning and you're starting out on your own now, or somesuch. You've got the basics under your feet and you want to do things for yourself in your own way. Which means better.

Now your tagline needs to speak to those who need what you do. That may (or may not) include where you are, who they are and most importantly of all - why should they choose you?

All of which is pretty meaningless unless put into some kind of context. Marketers are fantastic at spouting rubbish like "brand yourself" or "advertise your product" and then go on to confuse the issue further with long discussions about how they can help you do these things. Without doing any of it. Because the real problem facing marketers is bringing these bland concepts into some kind of reality - and that means focus. In this case, it's you. It's your business and your skills and your abilities.

The most effective tagline brings them to you for the right reasons. You're suave and high-class - hence elite elegance. How could you make some everyday person's event suave and high class when they'd find it a little intimidating? Well that's down to the way you discuss matters with them - that's when it becomes the event of a lifetime.

Which is about as long as it takes for me to get to some taglines. It takes me a while to focus on the sort of things you can do for people - and with 40 wpm on a keyboard it doesn't take that long. What does is getting the porridge inside my head to do something useful.

Anyway we have a start - "For the event of your lifetime"
"The best event you've ever had"
"You'll never have a better time"

Do you like this approach? Does it help any? Can you fill in any gaps you think are missing? Let us know and we can come up with more. That's a promise. Okay?

Thank you for your response. I do like that approach and you brought up some great points. The primary focus is Meetings & Special Events which a lot planners focus on wedding, special events and meetings. So my goals is to grab the attention of not only businesses but individual celebrating milestones at a reasonable cost.

Why do you think you need a tagline? What do you expect it to do for your business?

Doing this at "reasonable cost" means repeat custom brings you much less money - and you need more customers to form a stable foundation for your business. Being reasonable also encourages those who would beat you down on price. They're never the best clients to have. Even in an emergency as they tend to cost you money, not make it. It's not easy to say things like "reasonable cost" without encouraging price beating.

Because reaching your goal in a manner that's meaningful means presenting the things you do best to the world. How would your experience differ from - be better than - any other? Are you better on the phone at organizing exactly what they need? Is it your quiet behind the scenes activity at the event itself?

Meetings & Special Events are seen as different specialties (one's for business, the other is for individuals) - so you're better off not trying to say "I can do it all". Consider: The RegionName Business Meeting Specialist
