Help With Dissertation Please

Hi Guys,

I would appreciate it if you can help me think of a question or any ideas of what I can do for my BA (Hons) dissertation in Marketing.

I am currently interested in:

- Football (Soccer)
- Travelling
- Global Marketing
- Languages

The problem is I can't seem to think of a question which I'm going to find plenty of research on and where I can do a simple research methodology such as an Internet questionnaire to undertake.

All ideas are welcome and I will be very grateful.

    Fair warning: I'm a girl and you will have forgotten more about football than I know.

    However, I can market football just as well as I can marine insurance - another topic about which I know next to nothing. That's because I know people, and they're the ones buying.

    So here goes!

    What about the UEFA league? Whatever it is, it's a massive branding opportunity - it's about football, travelling, languages and European if not Global marketing.

    So you could have - TV brand advertising during Uefa matches in Europe and Asia.
    - The effect on German insurance companies advertising on the pitch when they have a visiting Czech team.
    - The pressure on the Dutch railways during Uefa match fixtures
    - What about twitter advertising during matches? Surely there's something here to consider. Lots of people will be tweeting, and will catch an ad if the going's slow.

    Please let me know your reactions. I'm a lot better at marketing than I am at football!
