Which Is Better M.sc Advertising Or Mba Marketing

I would like for further my career in advertising but have no experience per say in the field except my two and a half years of experience in the regulation of outdoor advertising. Is it safe to go for M.Sc in Advertising or MBA in Marketing even though i am not good with calculations?

    Being able to do math will be important for either of these jobs, so if you have trouble with this, that may be a challenge.

    What art of advertising do you want to do? Advertising design? Sales? Scheduling of ads?

    Do you want to work for a large company, for an agency, or something else?

    I ask because it is quite likely that neither of these jobs would be great stepping stones toward advertising positions.

    What ASPECTS of advertising are you interested in? Account planning? Brand strategy? Art direction? Copywriting? Account management? Digital? Outdoor? Direct response? Marketing? Branding? And please, don't say "all of them"!

    I think one of the more important questions is what is your undergraduate degree in? If it is NOT in business, then the MBA will be more valuable, in my opinion. Also, what is your expectation of your return on investment? Why are you considering this - because someone told you that you need to have an advanced degree to get ahead? If so, have the discussion with that person. If it is just to change jobs, what are you doing now to network with potential employers? If you do choose to pursue an MBA, go to the best school you can afford. Part of the value of the advanced degree is the network of classmates that you develop while in school.
