Help Me To Choose The Best Topic For Dissertation

It's my third year in university and I need to write dissertation. To choose topic is the hardest think ever!! But actually I am really intersted in viral marketing but I am not quit sure what specific topic I can use with it as I will need to find louds of bibliography and etc. Could you please advise my with some topics which you will think will be good for dissertation and I am not gonna struggling to write it! :)

    What is it about viralism in marketing that appeals to you?

    What kind of questions you can ask, research, and answer to address the subject?

    How does viralism work?

    How is it driven?

    How does it create visibility?

    How does this visibility generate supplemental PR?

    How does the PR support the messaging?

    How does this messaging drive sales?

    Have a think why something goes viral on Facebook or Twitter - and then think why it would. Think also that it's a chance that something goes viral, how many "viral projects" fail before they hit one that does go viral? Getting data on this aspect will be nigh-on impossible! Yet it's a major factor in the equation.

    There are things that are far easier to measure - my own favourite is the Google advertising platform - and ads can "go viral" here but in startlingly different ways. Ways that are also measurable. Does this interest you?

    You can compare the two in terms of energy and time put in and the costings. Some people who spend hours setting up SEO projects do not factor in the time it takes to reach their desired position - and in considering this, a peppering of paid advertising would have sliced the work needed in half and would also have brought them more information.

    Thanks for you quick response. After all this I think I will choose to write my dissertation about google, just not quit sure what topic I am going to compare with this.

    You can measure Google a lot more easily - half your work's done for you. Have a look at Perry Marshall's site (https://perrymarshall.com) or https://askhowie.com - they both deal with Google Adwords.

    Google's big enough to compare one of its many departments with others ... or different styles of advertising. Google is the biggest advertising platform on the planet - you could compare cities, regions or hemispheres!
