Social Media And Social Crm?

Is Social Media Strategy and Social CRM (which itself is a strategy) the same? what are the similarities and the differences and why should companies move from social media strategy to social CRM ?

    I'd start by reading and understanding these definitions:

    Why move? Similar to non-social media move from marketing strategy to CRM. Marketing steategy is using a strategy to reach people, but doesn't have a great feedback loop of how well that marketing is working. CRM is that feedback loop.

    No. They are not the same. Forget about a social media strategy. Focus on making connections,
    giving value, offering great content, and building a following by making your free stuff better than
    other people's premium material.
