Considering A New Tagline For My Tour Business

Hi, I own NJ Adventure Tours in New Jersey. I am revisiting a few things in my business, one of them is creating a new tag line. I have included the original one here and added a few I thought of. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

NJ Adventure Tours - "where traditions become memories"


"Adrenalin for sale"

"Adrenalin sold here"

"Adventure To Go"

"Our passion. Your Destination"

"Discover Your Why"

"Your destination co pilot"

"Re discover days that end in Y"

"What weekdays are meant for"

"Trek. Discover. Explore"

    A few thoughts.

    1. You don't need the word "adventure" in the tagline. It's already in your name.

    2. What kind of adventure tours are your most popular? You might want to pick up on that as a kind of "signature" symbol of what you promise. Trying to encompass all passions in one name/tagline/tour company makes you less relevant to everyone. Better to zero in on one specialty and let the others infer that you can serve them too.

    3. What one person considers "adventure" might be very different from what another does. How do your best customers define "adventure?" What words do they use? What makes an "adventure" for them? The tagline needs to resonate with your prime target audience, not with a bunch of marketing geeks. (OK, so some of us go both ways.)

    Hi mgoodman, great feedback thank you! To answer your question the popularity of tours change with the season. For example in the summer fishing and camping or hiking are very popular where this time of year its winery tours and hunting tours. It can vary which is why its a tough task.

    Since the fall my most popular tours have been winery tours and the audience primarily women planning them for birthdays/bachelorette parties.

    Sure, if they fit.

    It's not always easy to tell what the right direction is when we have just a cursory understanding of your primary target audience, your desired positioning, and your marketing strategy/plan. To do this right requires more time/effort than the forum allows. But if you think the suggestions are helpful then, by all means, use them.

    If you want more, we can certainly consider a full project off-forum.

    Forget the tent [well, that's my take on camping anyway - and it means you don't have to drag the thing around with you. And I wasn't staying in hotels, either!]

    What do you think? Anything you can add/deduct? Which do you like (or not like, which is quite as important). But please remember it's for your customers to see and react to.

    Great point Mike! A company close to me geographically and service wise has that tag line and I don't want to look like a copy cat. Otherwise it would be perfect.

    Great feedback! Keep them coming please! I am really trying to figure out what drives it home but I am not sure if trying to encompass all the things we do into one is going to work....

    Most people want to escape the confines of the office and just get a lungful of fresh air. Just look at Central Park at lunch time!

    You will need to check these with your target audience and a search network campaign usually comes up trumps. Of the four ads I had, the one I liked best came second - and the one I liked worst came first. And as with all good campaigns, it had as many clicks as all the rest put together.

    Test them! It's what I did, and the results were as much a surprise to me as they would have been to anybody. You can't tell unless you ask a good number of honest people!

    Most of your site testimonials talk about how much fun they had and how they were well taken care of. I think something about looking after, taking care of that kind of thing. Your company name tells us what you do, I think your tag should tell us how well you do it.
