    It looks like the path your customer takes from seeing one of your advertisements to finally buying one of your automobiles.

    Do that for a dozen of them and find out which of your advertisements is bringing the most in. Make a kind of drawing with all your ads, all the people's journeys through ad to phone to salesman and showroom - to purchase. You'll find something looking like a tree.

    I agree with Moriarty. Whether you consider drawing from customer to you or from your side to customer, It'll look like tree with one central node and each node having sub nodes.
