Business Process Modeling & Learning Organisations

Posted by lasse.sorensens on 250 Points
Business process modeling & Senge's learning org. If someone is familiar with BPM and Senge's theory on learning organisation please give me some new insight on the topic. My project is to study and analyze "if there are any effects using BP modeling in regards to Senge's five discipline." Can BP modeling give more focus on learning organisation? In what way?
I appreciate all comments.

Have you become familiar with BPM? With Senge's theory? Have you "studied and learned" what you were expected to? If so, share your insights with us and we'll react. If you simply want us to do the project for you, then you're in the wrong place.

Yes I have studied BPM and Senge. I just want some comments from others in regards if anyone sees any connection with Senge's "personal mastery" and modelling business processes. What I see is that people with high level of personal mastery have a higher insight and more awareness of what the organisation needs to reach their goals and so forth.

Yes, I see a connection between Senge's personal mastery and business modeling. Just bear in mind that the Fifth Discipline was written in 1990 and that it was last updated in 2006.

Connections don't necessarily entail causal relationships. Be careful how you refer to the "connection."
