Name For Women's Website

Posted by baker.shirley.ms on 250 Points
I'm currently working on launching a website that is specifically for women in business. The idea is to have a place where they can advertise their business/products, exchange ideas and help grow and support each other. We will also be organizing seminars and informal meet n' greet sessions. I'm struggling with a fitting name that will be appealing to them, please help!

Where are these women? You might want to reference the things they have in common -- like where they live/work, for example. Since you can't do a great job of reaching and serving all women in business everywhere, this is a good time to narrow the focus of your website to a specific target audience.

You might also want to think about the specific benefit you want to promise and deliver for women who become members. What is the business proposition? What do they have to do/commit/pay, and what can they expect in return?

These women are based in Botswana, Southern Africa, with the hope of reaching more women in future in the greater Africa. There is a monthly fee that they will have to pay in order for them to have access and interact with other women to discuss challenges that they face as women in business and how best to overcome them and also to groom and give pointers to the start-ups. There will be pros that we will engage to assist these women with ideas and questions that they will have.

As the annual gross national income in Botswana (according to the World Bank), is $7,650 and that their inflation rate is currently 4.5 percent is it realistic to charge a fee for your site? How many people in Botswana (let alone female business owners) have Internet access? In 2012 only 11.5 percent of the of the population of Botswana had Internet access (241,000 users). How much has this increased in the last two years?

Why specifically are you targeting women? What unique challenges do they have that the men in Botswana don't have? How will your business different from AWDF (African Women's Development Fund), Young African Women Leaders Forum, or AWEF (African Women Entrepreneurs Forum)?
