Domain And Name For Wordpress.com Blog

Hi,

I am a survivor of domestic violence and am starting a support blog. it will consist of stories of survival, articles, possibly a news feed, and resources such as shelters and social service phone numbers.

I'm trying to brainstorm domain names that will be good for SEO, while also capturing the mission/goals. I'm not in this to make any money; I'm doing it on a completely altruistic basis because I feel that I can help others with what I've been through. That being said, I want to optimize it so people can find it!

Metamorphosis? Stories from the Edge? Break on Through? The Safe Zone?

Any thoughts?

    It's too bad you had to go through the ordeal, but it's great that you're now prepared to help others.

    For the name, I'd suggest referencing the solution rather than the problem. Of the 4 names you suggested, "The Safe Zone" would get my vote. "Stories from the Edge" sounds a little scary, and the other two are somewhere inbetween (in terms of positive/solution vs. negative/scary).

    You are almost always best served to offer a benefit, and for your target audience "Safe" is clearly the ultimate benefit.

    I'd leave the "clever names" that capture goals for the website's tagline. You want people to easily find your site, and once find it, ensure it matches their needs.
