Name For New Festival/events App

Posted by chickyredmond on 250 Points
Hi all,

Im a student and producing an app as a final project for a masters in digial media in college. The app in general terms will allow users to post notes to a map to discuss happenings or ask questions while at an event/festival.

Im trying to think of names and taglines for the app, your help would be greatly appreciated.

So far:

Festie - your festival bestie
Fest Pal - your number one buddy for festival discussions and happenings
Eventful - for all your event and festival needs
Fest Friends - connecting festival goers
Event Guru - supporting your festival needs

Also feedback on the idea would be great if you have any thoughts or would like further information.

I don't have enough information to judge the likely success of the venture. It depends on a number of different factors. But several of your name candidates seem very appropriate. My personal favorites are "Festie," "Fest Friends" and "Event Guru" (in that order).

The problem is that I'm not really in your target audience, and the opinion of your target audience is the only one that counts.

How about "Festive Talk" or "Festive Conversations"?

I'd suggest that rather than focusing on the pace, you focus on the person and their actions.

The place is a festival or event (is that right? "Festival" seems very specific and "event" seems very general... which is it?).

But the person's actions are sharing, learning, seeking, finding, informing, discussing... right?

How about something more like EventShare? Or you could even go more abstract, like Unity.
