Tag Line For Spanish Translator Profile

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I need to come up with a tagline for my translator profile. I'm trying to get into a new translation field.
I translate to Spanish from different languages.
Thank you very much!

Why do you think you need a tag line?

What's the name of your business? Where are your clients likely located in the world? Which languages can you translate from?

One of the problems you'll have is getting your message to the target audience in a language that will feel most comfortable for them. If you use English, then you'll cut out all those who are not translating from English. If you use French, you'll cut out all those who are not translating from French. Etc.

Presumably the goal is to communicate that you can translate from THEIR language to Spanish. Nobody will care about how many other languages you know/can understand ... as long as you know THEIR language (and Spanish).

So this requires that your tagline have as many variations as your target audience has language preferences. Maybe start with one language group (e.g., English, French, Mandarin, Japanese, etc.) and add new ones after you have some experience and can see what "sticks."
