Name & Tagline For A Group Trip

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I'm a travel agent and I'm working on a flyer for a group trip. I need a catchy title and tagline. It's a group trip to Jamaica. I want it to sound fun and inviting. For example, I saw one flyer that had 50 Shades of Play; but I don't want to use that because it's a fellow agent.

Who is your primary target audience? Where? Why would they be interested in Jamaica as a destination? Why a group trip?

I have two target audiences. (1) Couples (2) Girlfriends Getaway. Jamaica is a little over 3 hours which is a non-stop flight which makes it easy to get to. Jamaica is my niche area and I have several contacts there to help me make this more of a special event. I have several people interested in Jamaica; but wanted to expand it to allow more. I specialize in groups and I'm trying to branch out into annual group trips.

"I need a catchy title and tagline." No, you don't. You need something that's compelling and relevant enough to attract and hold the attention of your specific audiences.

"Catchy" is no more an effective sales strategy than pricing is. You must message to people's compulsions, dreams, desires, and imaginations. NONE of this has anything to do with being "catchy", any more than a trip to Jamaica has anything to do with being "beachy" or "rummy".

Tell us more about the groups you serve and have served. What KINDS of couples? What kinds of girlfriends wanting to getaway? Work related? School or college related? Interest related?

How about "3 Hours To Ecstasy"?
  • Posted on Author
What you are actually saying is I need the campaign to pull on their emotions so the title doesn't really matter then. So I'm going to have to drive my message around why you "shouldn't" miss going on the trip. The groups I've served are couples, usually married, and range in age from 40+. The girlfriends are also in their early to late 40's wanted to get away from their daily life. Most of my groups are families either doing reunions, celebrating birthdays or some other special occasion such as honeymoons.

I would like this to be an annual event.

The word "ecstasy" may be a little too strong for what I'm thinking about putting together.
