Know-How Exchange : Taglines/Names

Catchy is an illusion. You think there's something clever about it, but your target audience -- current and prospective customers -- just look at it and wonder what your cleverness does for them.

Given that the business name doesn't say much (other than "cute"), the tagline really needs to tell people what business you are in. I'd stay away from "catchy" and go with something like "Adorable Pet and Baby Gifts."

It does seem strange that pet and baby are merged together in a single business. It doesn't seem like there's much in common between them.

Personally I think you have two separate audiences. Gifts for pets would be a different buyer, than items for babies and mixing them into one tagline could create confusion. you could take one tagline for pets, and one for babies, and market separately, even though it's a single store. If the concept flies then you could combine with something like:

Gifts for the little ones - baby bits and gifts for pets

Gifts for boys and girls and their pets
