Fun Award Competition Themes

I'm looking for some brainstoming on fun themes for an annual awards competition for communicators. Any ideas to share?

    Where? Who is the sponsoring organization? Who is the primary target audience? What would you want the theme to say, or do, or communicate to your primary target audience?

    We would willingly participate in the "brainstorming" if we knew what the criteria were for selecting the "winning" theme.

    It is an award for communicators in a professional group. However we found a great theme doing some face-to-face brainstorming. Thanks for your response.
