Name Of Mothers Groups For Millennial Moms

Posted by livnlrn_06 on 250 Points
I will be hosting quarterly events catering to millennial mothers (age 18-30) in the Kansas City Metro area. The goal is to provide a space for young mothers to establish a unique support system (Mom tribe) of other mothers in the community. I am searching for a name of this mom tribe/group.

Kansas city is home to the Royals baseball team and the Chiefs football team. I really like the name "Queen" as the group name. It resonates with to the target audience that I am trying to reach while exalting the women. The problem with this name is that is does not speak as strongly to the idea of being a young mother. Any ideas would be most helpful.

Thank you, Cris

So I am in search of a new name or tag line that will fit better.

When you talk with women in your target audience, what benefit are they seeking? What words do they use to express their unmet needs? If you ask them the right questions and listen carefully to their responses they will suggest an appropriate name.

What unique benefit can a millennial mom expect if she participates in your group? What's in it for her? That benefit is what you need to capture in the name.

What I am offering to mothers is a space to be women; the opportunity to establish friendships with other women that otherwise would not be possible due to the responsibilities that come from being a working mother. These women are entrepreneurs looking to advertise their business, single working mothers looking for advice on work life balance, and others are working wives looking to set-up play dates. Through this network, I hope to establish a sense of community in my generation of mothers. Most of the interaction between millennial's happen through some form of social media and only fosters remote relationships-it is not personal enough.
