Sharing Lead With Prospective Employer- New Career

I worked as a contract admin assistant at a medium sized manufacturing company where I made many connections. I am interviewing to start a new career in sales with a large travel agency and during the interview, the manager (a business associate of my girlfriend) pointed out the manufacturing company I worked for is a contract she has been trying to attain, but has had no luck getting in contact. She half jokingly said, "If you can find me someone in charge there, the job is yours!" I found my ex coworker in charge of account management and am wondering if I should forward my prospective employer an email address or vice versa. My girlfriend is in sales and doesn't think it's a good idea.

Is she right?

Any advice?

    If I understand this correctly, I agree with your girlfriend. And even if you and your girlfriend break up, her point is still valid.
