What is the domain name of the site? What's the name of the sponsoring organization? What is Va? (Virginia? Veterans Administration? Vasectomies Anonymous? Other?)

Why do you want to "announce" a new website? Why should your target audience care? What do you want them to DO once they become aware of your new website? Or is this an excuse ... apologizing for the old, clunky, hard-to-use website?

    No you don't.

Your best bet to drive traffic to a website is a combination of direct mail, e-mail, and pay-per-click advertising. Grabbing attention alone isn't enough. You must DIRECT that attention and "catchy" as a call to action strategy is a waste of time, effort, and money.

What are you offering? What problem do you solve? There in lies your hook, not in anything catchy.

    (VA = Virtual Assistant?)
As Gary & Michael have advised, it's not enough to simply announce your website, nor attract people to it. Unless you've done your homework, it's likely that people may visit, and never return since they're not hooked into believing you have what they desperately need.
