Tax Office Name Ideas

Posted by ms.lowery1 on 250 Points
I have been struggling with naming my tax office for some time now. I don't want the name to be limited to just taxes because I want to eventually expand to other services, i.e. Notary, business cards, etc. I was able to come up with a few but I'm not sure if they fit. Professional Taxes and More, Elaborate Tax Service, Shannon's Professional Services to name a few. I really don't like those to much but when I sit down and try to come up with something, my mind draws a blank. Please help.

Start by clearly defining your primary target audience. Who are they? Where are they? What makes them tick? What unmet needs do they have? What are their values, beliefs, attitudes, awareness, habits and practices? What's on their wish list?

Then take an objective look at what you bring to the party. What makes you different from, and better than, others in a similar business? How are you unique? What compelling benefit can a person in your target audience expect when they deal with you?

Once you (and we) have good answers to these questions we'll be in a position to craft a name (perhaps with a tagline) for your business.

BTW, having a name that can include future services isn't always a smart way to go. When you aim too broadly you can come across as a "jack of all trades and master of none." It's usually better to define a narrow target audience and capture 100% of it, rather than a broad audience for which you can't get more than a small fraction of 1%.
