The biggest problem with birthday celebrations is that they're all about you.

The customer only cares about ME. What's in it for the customer? You'd be far better off focusing on an impactful customer benefit, and promoting that.

Keep your birthday cake, candles and party hats for behind-the-scenes, non customer-facing celebrations.
