Need A Tagline For A Newsletter: Alternative Acces

I need a tag line for our newsletter called Alternative Access.

It is written by world class money managers in private equity and venture capital.
It talks about investments in world class assets or statement assets such as Class A real estate, and fine art income funds.
Audience is older, affluent or pretending to be affluent. Looking for something more status enhancing than just stocks, mutual funds and bitcoin.

    What does "Alternative Access" mean for your target audience?
    What's the name of your company?
    What's the goal of reading the newsletter - to invest with you, or for people to feel smarter, or something else?

    Jay: That’s a very good question. Thank you.

    1. Alternative Access is the name of a newsletter that we started that we only send to our investors in our funds. Alternative assets are those assets that are not stocks or bonds. They are venture and private equity investments. More illiquid, but there is more value and upside.

    2. The name of our company is Dandrew Partners. Currently, after 20 years doing all sorts of private equity, venture capital and real estate, we are transitioning to becoming a multifamily office. We’re currently re-launching our new website in mid-May.

    We have a great track record. We invest only in statement assets, such as Class A commercial real estate and ventures operated by experienced and pedigreed entrepreneurs. We focus on operator experience.

    3. We have 2 goals. 1) To give our current investor a richer experience of what we’re thinking and why we’re doing the things wer’e doing with their money, 2) to offer it as a paid subscription to qualify prospective investors before they make a large capital outlay. They get to know us and our culture better.

    The reader will want to really know what the .001% is doing now that the coronavirus has panicked them. They are looking to see what assets the wealthier are in that insulated them from stock market sell-offs and other catastrophic news.

    They want to be able to tell their friends they have knowledge or access to assets that their peers don’t really know about. Run by real guys with real track records.

    The language you use must appeal to your target demographic. What percentage of your target are affluent vs. "pretenders"? The language you'd use for these is likely very different: confirmational insights vs. insider secrets. Someone who's affluent would consider themselves an insider. Someone who's pretending isn't looking for confirmation.

    Jay is dead on here: we use certain words to describe our opportunities for privileged investors (never “investments”).

    These are world-class statement assets that reflect their status, or the way they want to be perceived by their friends.

    They are only focused on private equity and venture, because stocks are for the lesser-affluent who have to speculate, and lose, in the stock market.

    They are looking for a legacy, and something money can’t buy – legitimacy.

    This is all about alternative investments (“alts”).
