"talk Show" Name - Panel Of 3-4 Young Adults

Posted by gbvamber on 125 Points
New talk show coming produced by Rowlett Friendship Baptist Church. We currently have Church 4Real podcast out which is 2 of our minister and our Pastor going through the Bible, theology, church misconceptions.

On this show, we would like to bring a wider range of topics (Self-issues, relationships, society, youth culture, ways to study the Bible, listeners' letters) as well as the audience. We will be starting Season 1 with going live on Youtube and encouraging online interaction with the discussion. During a conversation with the 2 main panelists/hosts, I wrote down the following words/phrases.

-We would like Matt. 7:12/The Golden Rule to be our tagline our general rule of thumb that we come back to on the show.
-The subliminal message tied in will already be "don't judge a book by its cover" by our panelists, where they are in there young lives, and what they have to bring to the conversation
-From that message, the phrases "God above Everything" and "mind over physical" were used by the panelists
-"Rooted" There may be plenty of spread out branches to this tree but this tree is rooted in the word of God. "Grounded" also comes to mind.
-We were coming up with words that we wanted to be associated with they were; real, honest, transparent, and relatable.

Our Host is a young almost 30 minister. The other main panelist is a 24 yo Realator and dad. Due to COVID-19, we will start with 3 panelists and eventually have a steady 4. The other 2 seats will be swapped out amongst 3 young women between 18-24, who will be regularly used on the show. However, only one of those 3 will be on a particular episode while the fourth seat will be young adult guests from all over Dallas from all walks of life.

What does success look like for you? What are you trying to accomplish with this project? How will you know when you get there?

If you can answer those questions, it will give us a good basis to come up with name candidates.

Another approach would be to define -- very specifically -- who is in your primary target audience, and then to articulate the unique benefit the target audience can expect.

Maybe address both so we have a "full deck" on which to draw. :)

    Here’s some thought-provokers:

The Matthew 7:12 Young Persons’ Ministry
… It’s Your God, & we’re here to help you work your Life with Him

The Matthew 7:12 Young Persons’ Ministry
… Your God + Our Life Experience = Lifelong Happiness

The Matthew 7:12 Young Persons’ Ministry
… it’s your Life, we help you unite it with God

Alternative to ‘unite’: hook up, connect, link up.

Our goal or mission is to reach other young adults and show them with the diverse personalities on our panel that living a Christian life doesn't mean a "vanilla" life. We want to not only put to bed some of the stereotypes of young Christians or Christians in general but we also want to open up about our personal lives and help those who reach out to us with certain questions or topics.

For the curious young mind we would like to provide fun, energetic, diverse content that helps us reach that person and answer their questions about life, relationships, work, school, and anything they would like to bring to us. The very first episode will be "did the pandemic cheat out our 2020 graduates? What else has this pandemic robbed us of, and how can we celebrate during this time." just to show the versatility we have in mind for the show.
