Need A Name For A New Wildlife Rescue

Posted by d.hollatz on 250 Points
Hi there! I’m a wildlife rehabilitator and need help coming up with a name for my rescue! I usually rehab orphaned wildlife but also take in sick or injured.
I live in Pine City which is in Pine County so all I can come up with is Pine names.
Any ideas please?!

Who is your primary target audience? What do you want the name to communicate? Why not something simple and direct like: Pine County Wildlife Rehab Center?

    Your Name: The Wildlife Saviour

    Example:
    David. The Wildlife Saviour
... Saving lives, one distressed animal at a time

Probably could use an explanatory tagline to remove any hesitation on what to contact your group about (using name mentioned above):
    Pine County Wildlife Rehab Center
"Helping orphaned, sick, or injured animals"

Do you specialize in a specific type of wildlife? Are there other wildlife centers in your area you don't want to be confused with?

My primary target audience is the general public. They’re the ones who need to find my info to bring me wildlife that needs help. I would like a more creative name involving wildlife rescue. A lot of businesses up here have “pine” in their names.
I specialize in mammals, the majority of my patients are raccoons.

(Aside: I volunteer as a small mammal wildlife rehabber, and people find our organization by referral. They call animal control or the local humane society, who then tell the caller to call our organization. In our case, the appeals to prospective donors/grantors, who'll need to quickly understand what the organization does, rather than the general public, who will contact us when they have a "problem")
    Raccoon & Squirrel Rescue
    Wild Orphan (Animal) Rescue
    4-Legged Wildlife Rescue
