Salary Info For Marcom Positions

A friend of mine is trying to get baseline salary info to help her understand if she is getting market rates. She works for a company in MarCom. She has looked through Salary.com, but doesn't think its regional breakdown is appropriate for the San Francisco Bay Area (a high cost of living, and hence higher pay, area).

Anyone have a better source for data?

    Hi, Peter!

    I've never seen any resource better than salary.com ...but that doesn't mean it's impossible to find. ;]

    I wonder why she doesn't have confidence in their regional data? Wishful thinking, perhaps, that it should be skewed higher?
