Tagline Creation Help For Tax Consulting Business

My business is sales tax consulting. I worked for the Connecticut Dept. of Revenue Services for 15 years and then Ernst & Young (Big 4 accounting firm for 7 years). Now I run my own business that helps companies pay only the right amount of sales tax. We do audit defense work, (Reduced audit assessments by over $120 Million) refund studies ($28Million recovered), run managed audits, determine where companies should be registered and what to collect sales tax on, and training.

I need a tagline so people will remember me when their turn comes up for having a sales tax issue they need help with.

    I suggest you tap into the EMOTIONS of your marketplace and the KEY OUTCOME you offer.

    What about one of these:

    Hi . . . I'm Lynn of ______________ where I'd like you to remember . . .

    "I used to take your money for the State; now I help you take it back for your business!"
    or

    "If you're paying taxes to the State; I can make them pay you back!"
    or

    "Payback . . . Hey, it IS a beautiful thing" '-)
    or

    "Payback . . . of your taxes . . . priceless" '-)
    or

    "We're the ULTIMATE tax return specialists" '-)
    or

    "Our 'Tax Return' means money in your hands!" '-)
    or

    "Don't distress . . . we'll repossess . . . the taxes you've overpaid"

    Just some thoughts that hit the emotional issue (beating the State DRS at their own game!) and the tangible benefit a client of yours may be enjoying after working with you -- seeing old presidents they never thought they'd see again . . . truly priceless! ;-)

    I hope these variations on the theme have been of some help to you.
