Listserv/e-marketing Launch Options

I am looking to start a opt-in subscriber based E-marketing campaign. The list for a 4 Rec Center operation with information on sports, community events, etc. I'm looking at Ipswitch. What other companies do you recommend?

    You really need Listserv capabilities?

    The Ipswitch solution is very good but you haven't provided much information, and it almost sounds like you could get away with using an ESP/ASP - email service provider/application service provider of which there are many, again depending on what your goals and objectives are.

    Feeding this dialogue would be most helpful!

    I agree with Pepper Blue. Some more information would be helpful so you could decide if you needed a hosted solution or you just want everthing running on a desktop someplace.

    1. Do you already have a site that can be used to collect the email address?
    2. How many emails do you plan to send on a regular timely basis?
    3. Do you need autoresponders?
    4. What is your budget like?



    Most of my clients' needs can be met by Constant Contact and they can live with that for a while before we have to start thinking about other solutions.
