How Do Marketing Professionals Market

I am starting at a marketing company and was posed a question. If we provide marketing for our clients, should we ourselves advertise online or should we have more than enough prospects coming to us. What is your opinion? What would be the best forms of prospecting for a marketing company to utilize?

    Are you sure you are a marketer?

    "If we build it they will come" is not true no matter how good the product is!!!!!

    If you don't advertise(eg tell people about your product, even things like word of mouth, gorilla marketing etc) how will they know about your product?

    Also i did you post on this forum before and then just sign up again with a new account? If you did that is not allowed.
