Retailing Paradigms,the Development Of Retail Bran

As the market becomes more mature ,the product has acheived sufficient penetration and is almost at the last stage of the life cycle reailer brands begin to emerge as a competitor to manufacturer's brands? Does this effect the fortunes of retailing?

    sounds like a student question, more appropriately, a homework question.

    anyway, i suggest you to tell us what do u think in this regard. Does it affect fortunes of Retailing?? whose fortunes, retaliers' or Manufacturers'?? whose brand is at the last stage of the PLC, retailer's or manufacturer's?? its not clear from your post. so, tell us your opinion, your experiences, gut feelings and then we will carry from there.
