Marketing Gurus

What do you think of the current crop of showbiz style "Marketing Gurus" I'm thinking of Alex Mandossian, Seth Godin, Tom Asaker… who's worth checking out, and who is style over substance, and does that matter? Who is the biggest snake oil salesman in the business, or does that description apply to all of us to one degree or another? Your thoughts please Profs!
