I'm not sure what topic this should be under but it concerns creating a new name for a company. I've decided to start up something which is related to event management but rather on a smaller scale. I'm starting it in a small town called Lumut which is very near to a holiday island, Pangkor. My idea of small scale events is limiting it to just organising the usual company events ie annual dinners, family days, trips etc. Though that is only the initial plan. Should the biz bloom, of course I would like to try and expand nationwide. So I'm thinking of a name which does not have border limits.
The target market at the mo are companies within the vicinity mostly which are factories, powerplants and also Lumut Port. We've asked around and most of them gave positive responses to the idea as company events is not really a "culture" there compared to bigger cities such as Kuala Lumpur.
More importantly, I'd like to inquire on what should be included in a business plan. I have no business background whatsoever but the opportunity has risen and I'd like to give it a try. Hope to get input from forumers soon. Thank you.
PS:- I'll ask about business development once the ball gets rolling. Pray for me!!
