Web Hosting

Hi all,
I am in the process of starting a new venture and establishing a website. What would everyone recomend in terms of a hosting company. It won't be a huge site but I will need e-commerce capabilities so I will need a merchant account and storefront etc. I am familiar with valueweb and go daddy. What would be your suggestions.
Thanks

    Hi Gary,

I recommend Go Daddy. I have been using them for many years and currently have customers using their shopping cart, SSL cert., gateway processors, webhosting and other services.

Their phone customer support is excellent. Sometimes you have to wait, but you always get a good answer and they followup.

    Prices can't be beat.

Their Quick Shopping Cart is lacking a few features that would be nice, but it has excellent reporting capabilities and is easy to set up and looks nice.

I can't speak for ValueWeb, but I will not hesitate to contnue to use Go Daddy into the future.

    I hope that helps.

You might try 1and1.com . I've been using them for a while, and I'm quite satisfied with the service. Price is very competitive too. (No commercial connection ... just a satisfied customer.)
