Clever/play On Words Name - Annual Employee Survey

Posted by matthew.d.whisker on 250 Points
Hello there,
I am trying to come up with a clever name for my company's new Annual Employee Engagement survey by the end of this week.

We are a childcare organisation, but want to think of something fun/exciting to assist to engage our employees. Something which is catchy and not too cheesy.

Our organisation's initials are OAC in case that helps. I have been thinking around the OAK tree but can't come up with anything, now have a mental blank :) Thankyou in advance for any ideas!!

Why do you need a "clever name"?
Are you hoping that the name will somehow encourage the employees to participate more?
What was the name from last year for the survey?
What can you share about past surveys - what were the results of the surveys, what was the mood, etc.?

    Hi Jay,
I would like a clever name as the survey will be targeted towards a lot of relatively young employees (centre directors as well as young professionals) and I feel a clever name may 'catch their interest'. But it should be a name which can be used every year, so I'm cautious of going down this route in case it's the type of thing which sounds funny at first, but then gets less and less amusing each time you hear it!

The old name, was "2011 - UC Engagement Survey" (UC was our old brand; we have rebranded this year); quite a basic name though as you can see.

There has been a lot of excitement generated of late around the new Business branding, and the general employee mood is quite upbeat at the moment. However as with any company there is always lots of constructive feedback given in the surveys.

We operate with a Corporate HQ /Operations team managing a large number of childcare centres in multiple states. Each centre has a director and under them, 2IC and various staff who look after the kids.

    I hope this helps!!

One of your options is to keep the previous naming convention - "OAC Engagement Survey". The benefit being it will never be too dated or confusing for your target.

Then add a new tagline each year that is relevant for that year's events and carries the right creative tone - "2012, The Year of the New Branding" or whatever would fill the bill for 2012.
