Hi, does anyone know what the industry average response rate for direct mail AND email campaigns in the high-tech (B2B) space?
9/10/2005 at 2:25 PM
That's a tough one -- because often results will depend on the quality of the direct mail messaging, its format, etc. It also depends on the quality of the list.
Last solid number I heard was 4%.

I come from just that arena in the UK, and there isn't a typical response rate, it depends on so many elements.
We were typically getting 14%, but the stuff was highly targeted and highly relevant!

Sorry just to clarify:
Postal Direct Mail: 1%-5%
E-Direct Mail: Opening Rate: around 75-85%
E-Direct Mail: Click Through: around 14%
