I Need A Tagline For My Upscale Cooking School.

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
I have opened a cooking school with in a kitchen design studio. I am the only instructor. It is called Cucina Della Rosa. My target customers are affluent, college educated, have young families up to retired, enjoy good food, they want to eat healthier, entertain at home more and are looking to enhance their food experiences. I am the only school in town providing a full time instructor and am available any day or night of the week. But...my goal is to go after the stay at home mom and teach 75% of my classes M-F during the day. I also market my classes as forms of entertainment like a birthday party or team building event. There are many very well equipped kitchens in this town that are never used due to lack of experience on the homeowner' s part. I would like to "unleash" their kitchen's potential. I also want to market my way of cooking and entertaining as a "way of life". Thank You!

Thank you, however this is not the angle I am going for.

    "Homeschool your cooking"

    "Avoiding the Microwave"

When you get to the entertainment part, let us know. My wife and I built a party business (not a MLM or franchise) using her floral design skills. How does $500-$2400/day sound?

Forgot to ask if you've approached a local community college to offer college level credit classes.

    Stokefire,
I am located in the midwest. What do you mean by "define my brand"? Is my target group too large, not defined enough? I appreciate your offer but I don't have the budget for branding! I have my paper ready and will put as much down on paper as I can! Thanks for your support.

Thanks Randall, very constructive advice here! My current tagline is "Where cooking is a journey, made simple and fun...

    Kata,
So far yours is the best. Thank you. Is this a take on "Life is good"?

    All,
Basically, I want to inspire people to get excited about cooking, take it up as their new hobby, like people take up knitting or golf.

Personally, forget the whole concept of cooking, many people get scared of it and see too much of it on TV.

Brand it as an experience after all that's exactly what your customers should expect. Food is food, but how it's prepared, cooked and served, makes it an experience that hopefully, people won't forget. Remember, it's a complete package that you offer, not just one segment.

Your name translated means "Kitchen Of The Rose", which heads off towards smell, not taste.

    A tag line might be

Cucina Della Rosa - the experience of cusine at home
Cucina Della Rosa - an experience of cusine
Cucina Della Rosa - the experience of cusine
Cucina Della Rosa - taste as life..... is good
Cucina Della Rosa - the complete culinary experience
Cucina Della Rosa - teach, cook, experience

Sorry there's no more, have to go to a meeting

    Good luck and have fun

    Stokefire,
I can't change the name, it's in honor of my mom's family. I see what you mean about the tagline being an extension of the name. Back to the drawing board!
Thanks so much for your time!

Not quite, but thank you so much for your response.

I would like to thank everyone that responded to my question regarding a tagline for my cooking school. I received some terrific ideas!
I couldn't decide on one person, so the following people will have to divide the 500 points equally.

    Kata, mlharris and chrishuff

Thanks again to everyone that responded. You have all been terrific and a great help and inspiration!
