Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
Dear Members,
Happy new year every one.
I am a student studying E-Business in university.
I really like this major and could learn alot of information about this major but the most interesting part of this major is "E-Marketing". Infact i have studied many hours to understand what is emarketing? How i can find true customers on the internet? Which Strategies can be used in online advertising?Writing a good slogan and etc.
But in our country there isnot enough facility or expertise infromation about this major and it is very new.So as i like to improve my knowledge in this course, i need your help to give me some idea about which TITLES I SHOULD prioritize in my studying.
Waiting for your helps

My suggestion would be to learn all you can about MARKETING. Then apply what you learn to eMarketing. If you really understand marketing basics, the translation to Internet-based businesses is fairly straightforward.

In the long run you'll be more valuable to an employer (or as a consultant) if you have a broad view of marketing than if you niche yourself into eMarketing before you get the big idea.

    Hi Emarketer_n,

I suggest that if you want to get a great idea of what real world Internet marketing is about, that you click on the "E-Marketing" category on the top of this page and start reading all the questions that have been previously asked.

What you will find is a treasure trove of real-life problems business owners and managers have and the solutions that the real-life marketing professionals here have provided.

I don't think you will find a better source of information than this anywhere on the Internet.

Than, you can take this and apply it to your studies combining the best of textbooks and classroom and real-life.

    I hope that helps.
