National Debt Consultants

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
I am looking for someone to critque my website www.nationaldc.com to see how I can enhance the lay out and to optimize it to be direct and to the point. I am currently having the website redesigned and seperated into 2 sites. One will be geared towards consumers, and the other will be geared towards Loan Officer/Brokers.

What does CCC mean? I have to drill down to find out what is means. Since most people read headlines only, I think you lose a few eye balls by not being more explanatory in the headline on that page.

Your logo could be slightly bigger. I can barely make out the words.

Screening in the logo again in the 'header' image on each page seems a bit overkill. Sure, repition builds brand, but it also builds visual clutter. The images you've selected say a thousand words, but, the screened logo says 'too much'.

    My two cents worth.

First I like the general look of the site. Here are a few suggestions for improvements:
    1) Disclaimer - I would change disclaimer to something like security policy or for your safety. I think disclaimer sends a warning flag. It was the second thing I noticed.
    2) About us - I would put more information about you. How long in business, what are your qualifications, why you are good, your Better Business affiliation, etc
    3) This is more of food for thought. I would talk to your web builder about the color scheme. You might want to review the info at www.uwec.edu/help/webpub/clr-meanings.htm
Some researchers feel that color schemes will drive behavior.
