What Is Xyz Positioning? And How Does It Relate To Advertising To Perceptions Like Ries & Trout Speak To?
We are trying to determine our positioning statement for American Forces Radio Europe. I've been basing the development on what I'm learning from Ries & Trout. But someone brought up a different idea they called the xyz concept. They offered a positioning statement of "What You Want, What You Need". I felt it was very weak and vague. My personal choice was Music Worth Fight'n For or Your Hit Music Station. Can you shed some light. MSgt Mike Burnette
