Assigment: Create A Marketing Campaing To Get More People To Work In Trades

For my project i was given some data of the number of trades people in each trade. when i analyzed it i found that the number of people in the selected trades was decreasing. my assignment is to create a marketing campaign to attract new/or oversea workers in to the industries to get the number of trades people in each industry to certain level

i was hoping that someone could provide me with some ideas that i could use or past example of campaigns used in other countries, or countries which have an overflow of one or more of the trades.

Any ideas of how I could get women involved and more young people would be good.

Some things that I have already come up with are things like increasing government help for small business, relaxing immigration for the people how can do the jobs and agree to stay in the industry for a fixed amount of time when they enter New Zealand

Also I would like website or promotional materials for past/present campaigns.

Please reply asap because my project is due in10 days. It may seem like a lot of time but I want to do a good job of it.

Bricklayers
Builders
Plumbers
Carpenters
Electricans

    thanks for your response. i am looking for some more ideas of how to do this, past campaines, government agenciys, existing programmes to help people get in to trades.

    thankyou for your responce. my report is due in 6 hours and i am currently pulling an all nighter. i have not slept for the past 24 hour and am currently running very low on energy. i was stuck for some ideas to gret more women in to trades and was starting to get desperat. THANK YOU SO MUCH. this has given me a couple of ideas and while in nz girl do maths and science, in fact my chemistry paper is 90% female.

    i love this site so much. it rules. the only beef i have with it is that we you answer your own question the site sends you an email telling you that some one has just put a message on your question.the frist time it was funny but now it is starting to get anoying. but what can they do, some people might like it.

    but other than that this site is makeing my marketing paper really easy.
