When I go to this link, I see nothing posted and no one registered. Getting usage in a new forum is a huge chicken and egg issue. This one doesn't even contain any information about why we would use it. What could it offer that this forum doesn't, for example? There's a lot of infrastructure and marketing behind getting something like this going, so there needs to be a compelling need driving it.

I’m put off by your own initial post on MLM. If anyone can show me that any MLM scheme which does not require the recruitment of further MLM participants in order to meet the original member’s objectives, then I’ll believe that at least that MLM scheme is not a con perpetrated on the weak and gullible by the strong.

All MLM schemes I have investigated involve a geometric progression of ensnaring further participants in order to enrich the early entrants at an eventual cost to the majority of participants who don’t have a hope in hell of recouping their investment or their effort because the entire population of the known universe would have to be involved at some stage in order to produce a return for the poor saps who are not amongst the early elite who make the money, before moving onto the next scheme and their next set of victims.

If you are prepared to promote such chicanery in an uncritical manner, I want nothing to do with you. Your own posting offering guidance is little short of mathematical nonsense which if you posted it here, you’d get blown out of the water.

It’s not a personal issue, nor do I have a problem. I detest MLM because by the geometric nature of the mathematics which kick in as soon as any MLM scheme invites a participant to “Acquire a Downline” the scheme will run out of cannon fodder whilst many thousand or millions of people are still seeking to emulate the success enjoyed by those who were well ahead of them in joining the scheme, but they will fail to do so because the numbers say that they can’t succeed. It’s simple mathematics and if you can’t do the sums yourself there are a hundred people on this forum apart from me who can.

If you search for MLM here, you will find a huge correspondence with contributions from worthier experts than me, all warning of the same thing and more. And worse.

As to ignoring it – why should I? You are seeking endorsement for your site and you have personally written a thread, apparently in favour of participating in MLM schemes. If you’d stuck something on your site, albeit one article, extolling the virtues of making money from pornography or flogging drugs, would you still expect me to remain silent.

You don’t need to censor your site or avoid the issue, we don’t do that here, but when a site owner propounds something which many people feel is largely a scam, then it’s hard to avoid comment.

As to the companies being listed on the Stock Exchange – so are a lot of pornographers and an as yet unknown number of fraudsters. It doesn’t mean to say that I want to be associated with people who make their money that way.
