I organise exhibitions. In this kind of business we are the middleman between the exhibitors and the visitors. That is why our advertising campain targets both groups.

My question is: What methods should I use in advertising to exhibitors?

    When I've done these sorts of projects in the past, I have identified similar trade shows, obtained a list of their exhibitors, and called them.

    One way to quickly expand this list of exhibitors is to visit the web sites of some of the larger exhibitors. Many will list a trade show calendar. There are also a few web sites which list various trade shows...

    If a potential exhibitor can not make the show, invite them to visit the show, so that they can determine if they want to add your show to their program next year.

    Unfortunately, sometimes the trade show budgets are set quite a ways in advance, and so some of the seeds you plant this year will bear fruit next year.
