Ggle Ad Spend Increase: When Will We See Benefits?

We increased our Google Ad spend 40% seven weeks ago, and have seen zero increase in leads. It is managed by an agency (we didn't just throw the money in and stand back).

I understand it takes Google some time to learn the algorithm, but when
should we expect to see some progress?

What do you suggest to improve the performance?

    An increase in ad spend should see an almost instantaneous increase in clicks.
