How Does It Business Operation Manager Qualified?

I'll serve for a logistic company as a IT business operation manager, I understand that the person will responsible for overall business and it integration of IT department, but I have no more experience in that field, i have no idea that how the frame system is good, I wonder if I can get some proposals about it to do it well.
