I am from India and I am doing a project on how to design an IMC plan for positioning TIDE in the minds of the consumer in India. The problem over here is that all the detergents are positioned more or less on the same lines of whitenening your clothes. I have to address all the seven touch points and would like to have a brief idea about how to do it.
About the Indian market, detergents are largely targeted towards Indian housewives as they are the ones who buy them for the household. Brands are important but only in urban areas and in the higher income groups. In rural areas its largely about cost. Please help.
