Help Name Our Unconventional Barbershop

I am going to open a barbershop with a twist. We of course will offer haircuts, color, shaves, etc but also in the space will be vintage resale, local artists work, hip handmade DIY crafts, and hair products. This seems to be a disjointed type of collaboration, but we will be marketing to the 16-34 year olds in our area who have a shortage of offbeat places to buy gifts, clothing, accessories, get their "look" together and display their artwork/music/clothing if they are inclined. I think it will be a unique situation in which the clientele shape the way the shop looks and feels to a degree. Incorporating our clients ideas will help them stay loyal is the hope ;)

What do you call a place like this? We are totally at a loss on that.

    Sounds like a fun concept - will some of the furniture and accessories also be for sale? Will you sell other "Lifestyle" related items, e.g. concert tickets, selected magazines?

    If it were me, I would consider a "style" related name from lyrics from music of your target generation. For example, if I were to say, "So long, and thanks for the fish" - some folks would know what I was referring to, most wouldn't. I would choose a "unique" phrase from a "signature" song which addressed the issue of style, but I would not try to "sell" that style, I would just try to "capture" that style.

    WOW! i really like the tagline about the New Generation, although Gone Tomorrow will make most of our male clients anxious. HAHA! I agree with telemoxie's suggestion of using a phrase that would make our target market feel like they were part of an "in", just having a hard time picking the lyric, etc! We will be selling the furnishings, and magazines. concert tickets would be a great addition.
    We really like Buzz Cut alot since you can do a play on words with buzzing the hair or the buzz about whats going on. Great responses, thank you so much

    implies from the top down (hair) but also like riding around in a convertible sports car ...there is lot to more to see traveling this way.
